With the rapid development of mobile communication technology, there is a trend that mobile internet is replacing the tradition internet. As the2nd generation network is being all over, the3rd network is under large-scale construction and the4th generation network becomes familiar with people, mobile communication network is now far more important in our daily life than ever before. While as to how to satisfy mobile communication network end users, network optimization is the topic that experts pay much attention to. They are aimed to make user experience better by improving the network performance.When refer to network optimization, there are several tools, Drive Test(DT), Call Quality Test(CQT), OMC Statistical Data, Customer Complaints and Auto-DT. Auto-DT is a new tool based on DT, which inherits DT’s advantages and has many other merits that DT does not have, such as resources saver, massive data, completeness, timely and so on.So far there is little research on how to do risk assessment on Automatic Drive Test. In this paper, statistical tools and data mining methods are adopted to analyze Auto-DT data of a certain district, as well as index grouping, weighting, grid aggregation. Based on the analysis, a new model about Auto-DT is proposed. Practical Auto-DT data is used to verify the validation and feasibility of the model. The research result achieves its purpose and is accepted by experts.
