Smart phone’s sale and the competition between the mobile phone manufacturers both continue to increase, which resulting in the replacement rate of mobile phone is accelerating. The quality of the mobile phone has become an important factor in the purchase of mobile phones. Mobile phone quality includes many aspects, including manufacturing quality, process quality, communication quality and electromagnetic compatibility, etc., where the communication quality is the most basic quality standards for mobile phones. Strict quality testing of mobile phone communication is one of the important technologies to ensure the sales of mobile phone. This paper will introduce the design and development of smart phone communication quality test system which combines China Mobile’s TD-LTE technology.The paper research the mobile communication quality testing system based on TD-LTE technology, and finally deployed the system in China Mobile Company and business mobile phone manufacturers, which improved the work efficiency. In the software engineering aspects, the whole system includes the needs analysis, system design, implementation process, etc..The mobile communication quality test system will test the content of voice service quality, data quality and other aspects, including call test, FTP upload and download test, Http upload and download test, attach test, Ping test, streaming media test and other test items. This system can divided into five main aspects: the bottom drive control module, test task flow management, test results analysis, log management and statistical reports.From the industry point of view, this paper has four outstanding features:(1) the development of mobile communication quality test system based on TD-LTE technology will promote the development of related industries;(2) the quality of the mobile phone communications includes voice services and data services through various test patterns and test items;(3) the mobile communication quality test system can achieve the reasonable deployment calculation of mobile base station and give the corresponding improvement suggestions, which expands the application environment of the whole system;(4) the system pays attention to the effective data analysis of the test results from multiple perspectives, which fully understand the potential value of the data hiding.Mobile communication quality test system can find the mobile communication quality problem earlier, so as to promote mobile phone solution to provide higher quality of voice communication and data traffic for users; on the other hand, it can also achieve reasonable detection for the deployment of mobile 4G network base station and provide recommendations, so as to achieve mutual cooperation between the two sides.
