Therefore for making first level organization and second level organization convenient to process computer equipment declaring, ordering, providing and storehouse management, it is necessary to establish s set of new equipment management system to suit in the computer equipment bookkeeping management system, which may satisfy the related business department leader to examine use status of computer equipment in the department, also may establish the information channel which lies between each second level organization and first level organization to realize the uniform and standard management pattern. Looked from the data set angle, management level has truly enhanced, management efficiency has improved and risk has reduced in the equipment loss.The business demand of the management system is proposed by the first level organization, and all departments may use this management system. Project demand and goal as follows.For managing better computer equipment, equipment management software is developed to suit in the actual operation, considering equipment plan, equipment order, equipment payment, equipment providing, equipment use, equipment maintenance, equipment abandonment and equipment supplier and so on, which realizes entire life cycle management of each equipment and makes equipment management standard and uniform and fine. Mainly applied in the provincial level branch as well as the second level branch's equipment management, the inquiry function is used by all levels branch's leaders.This system uses the duplex system connection plan and has not special-purpose storage device.The data uses the RAID5 mirror image backup, which is accessed by various branch office users. The B/S mode is adopted in the system, DELL server of the double cpu and the 1G memory is used. The computer above P3 is used on the client, which can support browser above IE5.0 and operating system above windows98.The system is on the basis of the intranet, the application scope for the departments of large and middle scale enterprises and government institutions. The system has fully used already the network resources, draws up the equipment purchase plan for the management departments and even the user departments, grasps each machine the life cycle, counts the usage and the maintenance situation for each kind of machine, has provided the help for purchase machine and maintenance machine, simplifies the work process, standardizes the management(differently jurisdiction in the various departments). The system is based on the WEB service, uses ASP and Macromedia Dreamweaver MX as the development platform, which is embedded with the vbscript and javascript language. The English letter and underline are adopted in the naming rule of project variable and procedure name, in order to read easily the procedure. In the B/S mode, the user through the browser sends out the request toward the manay servers in the network, the server deals with the browser request and return the result information to the user browser. The work of client is simplified in the B/S mode, on the client the thin software is only required to meet the word need. The database accessing and application procedure executing are completed on the server. The browser sends out the request, but other works such as data requesting, data processing, result returning as well as the dynamic homepage building are completed completely by Web Server, which the volume of work on the client are relieved.The system design has achieved safe, real-time and maintainable characteristics, has realized two level equipment purchase plan management. The year equipment purchase plans are modified by first level organization and submitted by second level organization. Provincial level organization sets down equipment purchase plan of special project. According to ordering random combination condition of the purchase plan, the first level organization may inquire and print purchase plan total list of this year and last year, the detailed list, send out the announcement and inquire the announcement, ordering physical goods received, physical goods dispatched, receding physical goods received, the old account management, the equipment maintenance management, according to random combination condition, total equipment account can be inquired and printed, the detailed account, the contract management, the receipt management, the payment management, the data dictionary maintenance and the password change can be managed too.Dreamweaver software is used in the development, which makes development proceeding simple and codes are built automatically. In the structured design, advanced B/S mode is adopted, which does not need to develop the client side procedure, it has the good expansion performance, all of codes writed are completely placed in the WEB server, which is convenient to maintain quickly. Database are designed te become easy expansion form, which can change each function of the system at any moment, and improve continually adaptive ability of the system.
