| With the coming of human being information era, multimedia, network technology and communication technology have developed well enough and made quite great progress, and the modern education technology has emerged as the times require, which cause big impact on the traditional ideas, theories, methods and teaching technique in education and bring about great changes and development in modern education. Both educational administrations at various levels and all kinds of schools at various levels rely on computer skills as teaching breakthrough for carrying out modern qualification education and take mastery of the multimedia computer-aided instruction (CAT) technology as a basic qualification for trans-century teaching.CAI technology is one of the important means of computer application art and a branch of the modern education technology development, which are familiar to and mastered by more and more people. Such development of it will definitely produce far-reaching influence on the reform and development in education in 21st century.With the rapid growth of multimedia and network technology, CAI system holds more and more attention and multimedia rooms or campus networks have been established in schools, colleges or universities. It has made an unprecedented progress in the history of schooling. Great changes in terms of the forms, methods and content of teaching have taken place, such as the teaching mode of explaining in details with writing on the blackboard being converted into the teaching mode of explaining in details with various media coexisted by using texts, pictures, animations, audio or video means and students being able to study with computer interactively instead of inactive learning. But at present, the courseware used are mostly finished products for some certain subjects, e.g. English or computer, etc. Therefore, in this article I have designed and produced the unique multimedia courseware accorded with the teaching materials system for higher education on the basis of studying and referring to other related software, which will change the traditional inactive teaching mode that will not only save teaching period, but also show the intuitionist feature and interest and efficiency. This will promote the improvement of teachers' teaching ability, and a reform and a further development in their professional courses and course teaching.Nowadays, the hardware of computer has fully developed and the biggest barrier for the computer to be used in teaching is whether the multimedia software produced can actually meet the real needs of teaching in class; whether it accords with what in the minds of teachers and the rules of student's cognition. Therefore, an important task we face now is how to organize professionals with practical attitude at various levels who will follow the systematic method, to produce excellent CAI courseware, which will show their unique features in terms of scientific, educational, artful and technological level. As a junior teacher served in junior armed police institute, I select this subject is to managed to develop better learning software, which both the teachers and students who take Authorware as development tool to produce the teaching software in our institute may be encouraged to get some kind of inspiration through my further study of CAI system and take the course of "digital electronics" as an example material to put into initial practice in our teaching and take it as our main frame for producing software system.CAI system with multimedia technology is called multimedia CAI courseware, which can better promote the presentation and transmission of the teaching contents by using graphics, animations, audio and video means in teaching to inspire students' interest in learning the course, improve teaching qualities and achieve better teaching results.The development of multimedia CAI software is systematically and comprehensively analyzed in the article. The article first introduces the knowledge of CAI and MCAI and the function of MCAI System in educational reform process and then, it expounds MCAI theory and concept of designing, and theoretically discussed the design of multimedia software and the learning theory, and the relationship between the multimedia technologies. And on the basis of what mentioned above, finally put forward the systematic train of thought on CAI exploitation: taking CAI learning theory as basic theory, ideological method of the software as the rules of production, multimedia technology as presentation means to conduct design and production. It also explains the principle of design of the multimedia works and method as well as production technology of multimedia materials; it probes into the transformation from teaching design to script, as well as design of production of scripts. Authorware7 is selected as the multimedia courseware development tool by compare of familiar multimedia development tools. The Multimedia CAI teaching software is developed and designed based on course building of the Digital Electronics Basis. And on the basis of comprehensive analysis of course characteristics, teaching object, operation environment, teaching mode, kinds of courseware, etc., it also provides and realize the complex web-like teaching information group organizing texture. It designs and establishes the navigation management pattern for the chapter, section and subsection content. The system navigation is clear and teaching information is organized rationally, which not only conforms to learners' minds, but also the teachers' habitual practice. In addition, our system fully takes advantage of the original function in Authorware in the designing and producing our software and better realizes the modernization in the multimedia CAI teaching software for the course of Digital Electronics Basis teaching in terms of function of logon validation, navigation, teaching, testing, experiment and help module operation. And it finishes the video and integration jobs of freely opening any learning content. And in the mean time, it also finishes the great amount of work such as collecting and editing general media information and produces a group of high quality media materials.Multi-media computer-aid teaching is a comprehensive discipline with computer science, pedagogies, engineering technology and relevant professional knowledge involved. Because of time limit and my limited knowledge, research and practice activities done here still needs improving. Therefore, I have a lot of work need to do: firstly, multimedia CAI system theory needs further studying and making investigation through various ways into both teachers and students and apply the results of investigation to the system frame improvement continuously so that we may produce better multimedia CAI software to meet the needs of theoretical research. Secondly, the interface and content of the system software should be perfected further in our future work. And then, as the content of the software has been enriched accordingly, we may need more media materials so that we may be more flexible in creating more colorful multimedia works. Finally, the perfect system software should realize the modernization of network announcement and try to carry out distant education. |
