Research And Application Of A SCORM Based Multimedia Courseware Resources Libraries Management System For High Vocational Education

Building and sharing resources libraries of school is an important research field in distance education. High-efficient resource management can improve the utilization ratio of teaching resources and promote teaching better .The management and the application system of the digital learning resource typically represented by network courseware are the key points of the online education. To this question, researching and developing the system of standardized Multimedia network courseware resources libraries has important realistic meanings. This thesis not only researches basic theories and main contents about constructing web based teaching resources database, but also explores and practice how to construct the web system.The beginning of the paper analyses the actuality of education resource management system of High Vocational Education, gives the improvement about the system .After that, the paper introduces SCORM standard and content. All education resources in this system follow the SCORM standard, which is the most popular distance education norm. By using this standard, we can gain all different standardize resources to meet SCORM, and organize them scientific. So, it can provide a platform to efficiently manage and quickly search the education resources.Based on design, it gives implementation, introduces the deployment of system, Production of education resource, every modules and so on.The results indicate that (1) The semantic search on SCORM2004 compliant content repository management system, combining with the ontology, help Taiyuan High Vocational Education teachers find teaching materials and offer students a learning platform. (2) The model of the semantic search on SCORM-compliant Select the "Data Structure" materials for integrated applications, and implement a prototype system in order to play courseware resources, reusable objects and sharing features. (3) The courseware resource management systems provides a complete model for Taiyuan City Vocational institutions .The entire system consists of the administrator ,teachers and students.
