The design of RMS has become a design characters as important as warship's capability, and it brings significant effects on operational effectiveness, operate & support cost, etc. During the process of warship's design, lots of RMS data can be acquired through supportability analysis. In order to correct the weakness of RMS design, we need to evaluate these design characters of RMS constantly, and find out the pivotal factors that restrict warship's combat readiness or mission success during the process of RMS design. Thus, using a method that can support RMS evaluation during the each phase of warship's life cycle is very important to the RMS design. Based on it, a model framework called goal tree/success tree-dynamic master logic diagram (GTST-DMLD) is presented in the paper, and the paper also extends this model properly according to project application. Furthermore, the simulation flows for the RMS model and the expression of the statistic value of evaluating indexes are given in the thesis. The designer of RMS can use the statistic result from RMS simulation to optimize or improve RMS design. The main contents of this thesis are outlined as follows:(1) Based on the analysis of warship's system structure, RMS design process and operate & support, the characters that the method of modeling and simulation for the RMS integrated evaluating, should be have are concluded.(2) Based on introducing GTST-DMLD modeling methods, the expanding of GTST-DMLD is discussed according to the characters of warship's RMS modeling. Furthermore, warship's RMS describing model based on GTST-DMLD is constructed using the design information. To adapt to the needs of life cycle RMS modeling, this paper also discusses the ideas of using multi-layer GTST-DMLDs to denote the ship's RMS describing model.(3) According to the measure parameters of warship's RMS which usually used in our country, the thesis choices some pivotal parameters to form evaluation index system. What's more, we simulate part's failure and maintain process by computer simulation technology based on warship's RMS describe model. At last, the simulation flow of the RMS model is advanced and each evaluation index parameter is calculated by it.(4) To improve the efficiency of modeling and simulation, also in order to enhance engineering application capability, this paper introduces one kind of computer aided modeling and simulation software as well as the targets and framework of the software. Finally, an example is analyzed using the method of RMS modeling and simulation presented in the thesis.
