The Research And Implementation Of Computer Aided Instruction System Based On P2P Network

The computer aided teaching system plays an important role in the teaching and management in school now. At present, those computer aided teaching systems which have been used were based on C/S (or B/S) technique mostly. But the application of P2P makes the network content move from center to edge. Compared to C/S technique, the distributed search mechanism of P2P has many advantages such as better retractility, stronger robustness, higher efficiency of using resource, less investment and so on.The paper introduced the research and implementation of computer aided teaching system P2PEC (P2P-based Education and Communication) based on P2P JXTA technique. The system has the advantages such as smaller investment, stronger ability of enlargement and upgrade, better stabilization and so on. The system has realized the serve function of JXTA by using JAVA. The goal of the system is to realize the functions of system management, independent adjustment of classes by network, answer questions by network, cooperating courseware execution and special topic discuss.
