Study On User Interface Design Of SaaS

With the rapid growth of the internet, more and more people prefer to use service online. Recognizing such a trend, this paper discusses a research conducted on the method of User Interface Design of SaaS.UI Design is the core competitiveness of SaaS. The paper begins with the research on the current situation, characteristics and the develop trend of SaaS. And then discusses on the method of User Interface Design in respect of design principle, design process and design elements.Similar to the product design, User Centre is the basic principle of UI design of SaaS. The requirements of UI Design of SaaS includes: readable, easy-to-use, esthetical and systemic. The whole design process includes persona, scenario, and module as the starting point, concept, workflow, wire frame, clickable mockup and spec writing as an end.Furthermore, based on the author's internship experience in Webex, the paper also discusses the topics of feasibility and correctness of such methods taking the examples of different SaaS applications.Lastly, an approach of the trends of UI Design of SaaS is recommended to Chinese designers.
