Research And Application Of Heterogeneous Data Integration Middleware Based On Web Service

Along with rapid development of the Internet, many information management systems of different functions have been established in enterprises. These systems usually worked respectively and independently which were called 'information isolated islands', so enterprises need to integrate these heterogeneous data in heterogeneous existing systems, and process them together, in order to support the enterprises' decisions. Developing a heterogeneous data integration system is a valid way to resolve these problems; therefore, the research, design and development of integration system of heterogeneous data have been the concentrated research point of current industry and academic fields.The research on the integration of heterogeneous data has developed since the 70's in the last century, many heterogeneous integration solutions has been used. The using of Web Service in the integration which people pay more attention to is excellent compared to other methods for the technic merits of Web Service. This paper uses Web Service and the middleware technique to develop an integrated middleware of heterogeneous data. In the actual application, this middleware has accomplished the job of the heterogeneous relations databases' integration. By this way, the cost and the difficulty in the integration process can greatly reduce.In this thesis, I will study as followed: In the previous study heterogeneous data integration principles, methods on the basis of data integration projects and from the actual needs, we identify combining Web Service and middleware technology data integration methods; then we will research the framework of the system in which this middleware running in, the traditional three-tier system of adding middleware layer and then to focus on the analysis and design middleware, and select the appropriate development tools, to complete the realization of the middleware; final paper will be developed based on the Web Service heterogeneous data integration middleware applied to the actual logistics enterprises in the data integration project. Upon completion of the new logistics enterprise database development system integration, the study proved that this heterogeneous data integration middleware can effectively solve the heterogeneous platforms and applications.
