Design And Implement Of Integration System In Heterogeneous Databases Based On MVC And XML

As the technology develops, enterprises are all quickening their pace in information construction. However, because of the incongruence of development, databases always differ from each other. Thus, enterprises hope to integrate the data from heterogeneous databases to realize data exchange and improve the development of information construction.According to the present framework of Enshi Electric Power Supply Company, the thesis gives an overall plan for integration of heterogeneous databases, defines functional modules and interfaces, and presents a safe operation scheme and a concrete operation framework, after doing research on the internal business processes. Using the MVC method in designing the framework makes it possible that the developers are able to focus on realizing business logic within the module rather than distracted by irrelevant technical details brought by distribution, which helps the teammates to cooperate and to reduce the developing period and software maintenance costs. The procedure of realizing the MVC framework and its advantages is discussed in this thesis when designing the verification module. In describing the integration of heterogeneous database solving scheme, the thesis firstly analyses the disadvantage of traditional methods based on the storage process and data pipeline, and then presents the integration method based on XML. Because XML can describe data in layered approach, the data in database is mapped to XML files through SQLToXML Class library provided by WSAD. At last, heterogeneous databases are integrated into the comprehensive information platform through XMLToSQL Class library, so that the so-called information isolated islands problems among different business sectors are solved, which makes the exchange of data efficient.
