With the development of computer technology and high requirement of scientization and rationalization of assets and plant management, it stares us in the face that the informationization management of plantt and assets is realized by using computer. As the market expands constantly, the output increases increasingly and the variety of production manifolds constantly, plant scale expands constantly too. As the useful life of plant increases constantly, the risk of disaster dump because of aging rises too. How to analyse the historic malfunction of equipment efficiently and adopt measures to maintain and manage plant efficiently, they have become problems faced.To develop a Plant Management Information System (PMIS) suitable for the flow type industry will have positive and realistic function to enterprise development. The PMIS is composed of person, computers and etc.,can help with the collecting, transferring, storing, processing, maintaining and using of the plant management information. Through establishing PMIS, plant synthetically management will be conducted all by this system. Also PMIS will ensure all the plant management process can be scientifically managed and will improve the work quality, efficiency and modernized degree and will help to realize the enterprise's operations objective.This text elaborated the general principle of traditional J2EE architecture, talk about the designation of representation layer, business tier and data access layer when developing J2EE Web application.The author hereby is to apply the plant management theory and MIS theory into the plant management practice of Henglian paper group and consider the characteristic of flow type industry plant management synthetically to develop this plant management information system. In this system, we use J2EE enterprise solution to finish the enterprise software system with B/S mode, which could make the system more robust and extensible. With the stable and safety plant management system, efficiency of the plant management is promoted and the cost of plant management is decreased, and makes the plant playing its effectiveness, so it insures the smooth production of enterprise and the effective realization of strategic goals for the enterprise. As plant management information system, it has theoretical value and generalized value.
