With the rapid development of correlative technology and digitalization, TV content industry has gradually broken away from the dependence of the traditional TV media and got unattached promotion. Consequentially the development of industry always accompanied with competition. The competitive edge of Chinese TV content industry is not obvious in the global competition which is 3-dimensional, many arrange of ideas and Omni directional. Hence, to develop the core competition and occupy the sustained, long-term competitive preponderance in the competition of international TV industry is the urgent mission of Chinese TV content industry.This thesis is base on the theory of the core-competition of corporation, and combining the competitive particularity of the TV content industry. It discusses the composing of the TV content industry from the aspects of core resource and core ability and concretely analyses those elements.In this thesis, the two elements of core-competition of TV content industry are the core resource and the core ability. The core resource of TV content industry refers to the rare and particular resources of the industry. They are composed by the accumulation, integration and assimilation of other resources of the industry, including core content resources, core human resources, core technology, and core cultural resources. The core-competition of TV content industry is dynamic, systematic ability system, including the ability of integration and creation. It is the induction and abstract of all industry competition. The ability of integration consists of the ability of organizing strategy integration, the ability of resource quality integration, and the ability of brand advantage integration. The ability of creation is based on the promotion of the ability of integration, including all the competition of the industry,such as the creativity of system, resource, technology, product and market and so on. The possession of the elements of core resource and core ability will directly influence the strength of the core-competition of TV content industry.
