Human resource is the most important stratagem resource of the enterprise. With the rapid development of science and technology, especially with the development of knowledge economy, the enterprise attacks more and more importance to human resource which affects the managing development of the enterprise and takes action to strengthen the human resource management. It is required that computer applies to the management of manpower resource and it is also a developing tendency.The thesis first introduces the developing history of the human resource management system and discuss some kernel technology about the system, such as working stream management , enterprise applying integration and XML. Then the thesis told the basic conception of workflow, the function of Workflow management system and indicates the advantage about using workflow technology.The main part of the thesis gives a detailed implementing process of the HRMS using Delphi and SQL Server, explains particularly from design target to effect evaluating, and do the function designs for twelve modules. It describes workflow model according to the requirement of the system, provide a tool of process definition and a light workflow engine, and implement the function of task management.Finally the thesis analyses the strongpoint and shortcoming of the system, At the same time, it considers fully about the problems when the software system is put into practice. At last, it gives a summarize and pay a expectation to the future of the human resource management system.
