A Study On Human Resources Management System Based On Campus Intranet

Educational information construction is a systematic project that concerns every part of teaching and academic administration in the university. Human Resources Management System (HRMS) is one of the most important factors. Only rationally utilizing human resources and fully playing the potential of the staff, the quality of education may keep improving and educational level may keep upgrading.First , In accordance with the actual situation of human resource management in our university, HRMS in university is modeled with modern software engineering. Functional modules in HRMS are put forward while the overall design of HRMS based on campus intranet is given. Then this paper investigates not only the data warehouse and structure system and design method, but also the data analysis technology including OLAP, It the end, we have analysis the data with OLAP for human resources management system. Data warehouse tool and OLAP used by HRMS keep showing the brain drain in the university in order to make HRMS has the ability of decision-making.The system development adopts Clint/Server mode combined with Brower/Server mode, in which Windows 2000 Advanced Server is used as main server, its IIS4.0 as web server, Microsoft SQL Server 2000 as database server, client adopts Visual Foxpro 6.0 and FrontPage as developing means. Adopts Microsoft SQL Server 2000 Analysis Services analysising the data.
