The Development Of Management Information System Of Railroad Police Station Based On GIS

The application of police comprehensive management information system based on GIS is still in its beginning stage in our country. The comprehensive geographic information system for policemen has been entered in the list of the 23 first-rate items of "Golden Shield" Project. This study established a management information system of railroad police by combination of compute technology, GIS technology and database technology. It is a useful search on police management information system based on GIS.The system adopts ArcGIS 8.3 for GIS platform, the database is Microsoft Access and develop tool is Visual C++6.0.This paper analyzed the domain of railroad police station, designed the spatial database and attribute database, implemented the function of the Survey inquiry, Police service information inquiry, Guard spot inquiry, Management object inquiry, Special management, the route management around and so on.
