The Design And Implementation Of The Dog Feeding Management Information System For Police Station

With the development of the social economy, people’s living conditions areimproving. The number of dog feeding family also raises, which lead to the difficultyof managing the information about keep the dog. Because of the growing amount ofinformation that need to be handled and the complexity of work mission, workloadincreases greatly which makes the management becoming more and more difficult tothe administrative staff in police station. So it is necessary to design a managementinformation system (MIS). The managerial work will become systematic, automatedand normalized by this method, and there can be a big improvement of efficiency.So this thesis develops the dog management information system (DMIS). Itcontains six basic modules–System Management, Information Registration,Information Query, Data Maintenance, Portable Tool and Help. Each basic module ismade up of many sub-modules. Through the coordinated operation with thesemodules, dog information management in police station has been realized.This thesis discusses the rationale and the database realization process of MIS. Itanalyzes MIS with C/S module, take Delphi7as the development platform and SQLServer2000as the database management system, and it use ADO control in Delphi torealize entering, change, delete or some other management work to basic informationof dog owners, dogs and applicants. This thesis illustrates the whole process of DIMSvia project analysis, systematic design and implement of project.
