The Design And Implementation Of A Data Warehouse For Material Cost Prepare Accounting

The material requirement planning(MRP) system became popular in manufacture fields. Its main function is to calculate how many material need when produce a special amount of products. Nowadays the enterprises become more focus on the cost, but the MRP can't provide material cost preparation accounting function. So this paper consigned by an electronics Corp, takes on the research of implementing this function by analyze the material's history price and calculating the price various rule. Because the history reason, the company's production department and buyer department use various software, the various softwares use different databases. The heterogeneous data make the prepare accounting difficult. So this paper introduces the establishment of the data warehouse by integrating the heterogeneous data and using data cleaning algorithm. Subsequently introduces data mining algorithm and OLAP(On Line Analytical Processing), to generate some eigenvalue. Finally introduces how to get the prepare accounting by the eigenvalue, so help the analyst to do the decision. This is a new trial in material cost prepare accounting system development, providing the theories and method for the similar system design and development.
