With the rapid development of the telecommunication industry, inorder to ensure the normal operation of the communication network andimprove the reliability, accessibility and the real-time data access of thenetwork, a higher requirement of network management level is asked for.It's particularly pressing to design and develope an efficient networkmanagement system.Telecommunication Management Network supplies a packet ofoverall solution for the implementation of the telecommunication networkmanagement. It can simplify the management model of telecomcompanies in the mixed network environment and reduce the cost oftelecommunication. On the basis of the project of CDMA 2000 networkmanagement system in ZTE and careful TMN standard analysis, a 3Gnetwork performance management system is brought up. The thesisdiscusses the performance management of the third generation mobilecommunication network management, studies the function, reliability andsafety design of the 3G network performance management system underthe TMN framework and clarifies the design and implementation of thecollection, storage, processing, transmission, protection, taskmanagement, statistical analysis, congestion control and real-timemonitoring module of the performance data.The 3G network performance management system designed in thispaper has two notable advantages. Firstly, a way in 3G network of "dataintegration" and "frame route reproduction" technology is presentedbecause of the large-scale 3G network, wide range of business, complexequipment and other factors. The system has enhanced the performancedata integrity and system processing capability and saved storage space.The two technologies, which are great reference works for theconstruction of China's telecommunication network management, haveapplied for the patent. Secondly, the·system is in an unified networkmanagement platform and make full use of software re-usage ideas. It can greatly improve the intelligence, scalability and maintainability of thenetwork management. After a long period of the operation debugging andperformance improvements, the system which has high projectapplication value has been successfully applied to a number of networkmanagement project development.
