The Design And Implementation Of Statistics And Analysis Method Of TMN-Based Performance Data

This thesis designs a new statistics and analysis method of performance data..Performance management provides functions to evaluate and report upon the behaviour of telecommunication equipment and the effectiveness of the network or network element. Its role is to gather and analyse statistical data for the purpose of monitoring and correcting the behaviour and effectiveness of the network, NEs or other equipment and to aid in planning, provisioning, maintenance and the measurement of quality.This method is based on J2EE ,and XML files are carriers of its configuration information. So it has good replantation and extensibility.The thesis designs a new statistics and analysis method of performance data. It has two types of inquiry: original data inquiry and self-difining inquiry.The latter is the emphasis of the thesis.It includes executing storage process and self-difining statistics project. Performance data display in the form of report line chart or bar chart.Its output is in the form of EXECL or TEXT files. At the same time the thesis analyses emphatically design of database tables aiming at pointing out how to overcome problems: ascertaining net element position and defining performance object.Finally, the thesis introduces performance statistics report management.It is a part of performance management.These management personnel can master fast, straight and expediently running-status by looking through correlative reports.
