In the water supply system, motor is the electrical device which is used most widelyand consume the most energy. Generally speaking, selection of motor power is large forenhancing safety factor, it is easy to inflict "big horse pulls small chariot" phenomenon,lead to debase of operating efficiency and power factor, waste of electric energy seriously,and so on. In view of above situation, the energy saving device has been developed onmotor of pumping load based on fuzzy control in the water supply system.First, the paper choices an energy-saving scheme of voltage-adjusting and speed-adjusting control system, according to comparing with kinds of speed -adjusting plan ofmotor. The article describes the principle characteristics of the systems, and thendetermines the design of computer-controlled two-loop system of water-pressure andspeed-adjusting. Beginning with kinds of loss and load characteristics, the articleanalyzes principle of variable voltage and speed-adjusting, and system speed-adjustingcharacteristics, finally confirm voltage-adjusting scope. In the peripheral circuit design,capacitor is used to carry through compensation of reactive power, in order to advancepower factor, and cut down electric energy loss, economize electric energy. Because fullvoltage starting of motor has many disadvantages, constant current and constant voltagecontrol module is used to carry through soft start, in order to decrease impact of startingcurrent, avoid assaulting the electrical network. Consequently it reduced power loss ofthe electrical network, and got energy-saving effect.According to analyzing mechanical characteristic of pump in the water supply system,a new energy-saving principle is given which uses rotate speed to save energy. Thecontrolling system of adjusting voltage is made up of the OMRON PLCCP1H-XA40DR-A as the core, a photoelectric encoder and a pressure sensor. Firstly,constant current and constant voltage control module and PLC control technology areapplied to optimize the hardware circuit. Secondly, water pressure and rotate speedtwo-loop control strategy is presented. Many algorithms are adapted to improving itsaccuracy and robust in software programming, for example: internal-loop rotate-speedfuzzy self-adapting PID Algorithm, external-loop water-pressure fuzzy control algorithm,and so on. Thirdly, using the fuzzy intelligent control plan effective solution energywasting question of the electric motor and the load, with the succinct way, and the practical method, obtained the more highly effective energy conservation effect. Thedesign of the hardware and software in the system is introduced thoroughly, and the mainprogrammer flow chart is given out.The measure has some advantages such as less cost, adjusting simple-ness, maintainconvenience, etc, and it has a wide application foreground. The energy saving device ofwater supply system designed has been applied to water supply systems, the effect ofwhich is stable, credible and energy-saving. In a word, such a control system can bewidely used to get well economic result.
