With the rapid development of Intelligent Building(IB), Building AutomationSystem(BAS) has come to control and manage the equipment in the building more andmore scientifically,economically and rationally. Which can not only raise thefunction and the level of the building, but also save energy. Variable Air Volume(VAV) air conditioning system is superior to other air condition system for itseconomic and flexible performance and has become the main stays of air conditioningsystem. But as a complex thermodynamic system, VAV system has many disturbances andis not easy to calculate its parameters. With the development of computer scienceand control theory, many new intelligent control theories come into being. In orderto satisfy the needs to control effectively and save energy efficiently, this paperintroduces a Fuzzy-PID control algorithm. Fuzzy control is introduced in the controlprocess, and by using it and according to the dynamic characteristics and behaviorof the system, on-line adjustment is carried out to the PID control. So as to tacklethe contradiction between the stability of the control system and gain goodperformance. Strengthen the adaptability of the system to some unstable factors.Simulating the hypothesis in MATLAB environment. The result indicates that when theparameters changes, this control system has good effects and can save energy.
