On The Teaching Of Literature Retrieval Reference For Training Of Information Literacy Oriented College Students

The rapid development of information technology has made it necessary to be able to handle practical issues with the aid of IT. The said ability is thus called information literacy. College students are the treasure of society and the hope of future. They are requested to be adaptable to changes of society and proficient in information literacy for the hope of their own future.The teaching of literature retrieval is effective in student training. This thesis discusses the significance of information literacy education and explains the importance in literature-retrieval teaching. It recalls the history in the teaching, adopts questionnaire investigation and comprehensive research to study the current situations and issued. It also points out that the present retrieval teaching was lagged behind the development of IT times. Finally, the thesis presents some practical methods for the benefits of literature retrieval teaching.The research in question is academically valuable and practically feasible in terms of college students'information-orientation and their future.
