The remote facility surveillance based on GIS, is the concretely application and utilization in the field of industry production that the GIS heads for the data engineering. And in the environment of the GIS, which is featured as space analysis and graphics demonstrations, together with non-space equipment set-up instant collection indicator data, together with non-space equipment set-up instant collection indicator data, not only could achieve the change of instant monitor collection indicator data under the space data visible background, which is making up for the deficiency of the traditional equipment monitor, but also could backdate simulating, predicting the dynamic developing trend in industrial production, supporting administrator as well.It is possible that get equipment's instant data through GIS since that is not the goal. SCADA system is to instant data collection and system monitor; it could be used to get instant monitor data through PLC. Therefore, to utilize equipment remote monitor, GIS and SCADA system needs to be put together.This paper introduces research's background, meaning, current situation and the forecasting in the future, demonstrate the main research content, and introduces GIS system and SCADA system's general situation and development, application respectively, simply tell the technology, methods when these two meet together.The emphasis of the content are, how to use the instant SCADA system to collect instant data, how to use the strong data organization ability of GIS to organize these instant data, equipment, facility's space data and propriety data organically. The most important feature of integration of GIS system and SCADA system is data sharing, which is planned to be exceeding the difficulties of skimble-scamble of GIS's data format and SCADA' s platform data format. The advantage of integration is to mutual transfer data and information freely within two systems. Meanwhile, only demands data maintains once for the user, which could grantee the consistency of data, but also downsize users' work, no need to input data repeatedly. The paper basically introduces the key technology of GIS system and SCADA system at first, then tells the process of achieving data and transfer, space data and SCADA' s data organization and administration. It introduces instant information monitor graphic, graphic transfer processing and indicator line, statistics, alerting, together with equipment operations. The paper analyzes the entire application case. The content analyzes system background, structure, operation environment, functions, affiliated system, and database design. At the end, it shows the result of the operation of system. I hope my research have a little effective to the research of the GIS and SCADA.
