Research On Thought Of Publishing And Editing Of Liu Gao

Liu Gao's editing and publishing thoughts play an important role in Chinese editing and publishing constructions. Because he uses the platform of editing and publishing science to influence a generation of editors, at the same time, he is exploring the universal significance of the scientific concept of the editing and publishing. He has acted as Deputy Director of General Administration of Press and Publication of China before, with the basis of long-term rich practical experience accumulation on the editing and publishing, using philosophy, economics and political science theory, after 20 years of scientific research, he has its own unique and in-depth view on editing, publishing, editing and publishing industry as well as the whole culture of this industry. He has some specific ideas of editing, that is: He has started his research from contemporary China's publishing industry, especially the reality mechanism and management experience of book publishing industry, to inspect the editing activities, and do some further research to establish the scientific theory of editing. This paper seeks to use summary and discussion methods list out and analyses his thoughts on editing and publishing. In this paper, the final chapter discusses his study on the relationship between editing and publishing, then do some further elaboration. This paper is divided into three parts :The first part focuses on Liu Gao's editing thoughts. Liu Gao promoted the studyof redactology. He believed the object of editing research is editing activities, the purpose of editing research is constructed the general redactology; he affirmed that editing has its own science, and classified redactology to Human Applied Science, then he draw out the definition of editing and redactology; he pointed out that the is not only one law on editing , the basic law played a leading role in the editing activities, at last outline his editing thought , and do preliminary assessment.The second part concentrates on Liu Gao's publishing thoughts. Summarize Liu Gao's publishing thoughts and its position from following: the dissertation on culture and publishing; publishing work include spirit production and material production; the central task is publishing more good books; strengthen the research of publishing history; multimedia publishing are also publishing; the macro-management and reform of publishing.The third part discusses the relationship between editing and publishing. Show his understanding, the process thinking of editing, publishing from his dissertation on editing and publishing relationship etc. And further expand and clarify the inextricably links among editing, publishing, editing and publishing science. Then, on the basis of relationships above, put forward the necessity of establishing common editing.
