Germany's TOX PRESSONTECHNIK GmbH Corporation developed the board ramming connection technology. It has many merits among the TOX board ramming connection technology, it can realize the best connection of the same or the different thickness, the same or the different material, two or the multilayered metal plate without spotting welding. In the ramming process, in order to guarantee the board connection quality, it must carry on the real-time monitor to the pressure.The intelligent pressure monitoring instrument developed in this dissertation uses the embedded system micro processor as the core, which has the pressure detecting circuit, LCD monitor, operate pressing key, RS485 interface and PLC interface. It has the function of the pressure detecting, upper limit and lower limit of pressure setting, sensors choosing, service life setting, number of pieces counting, memory blocking, the communication between host computer and slave computer and PLC inputting / outputting and so on.The software of intelligent pressure monitoring instrument consist of the host computer and the field control unit. The software of host computer realizes with Delphi and database of access. It has the function of parameters setting, scan monitoring, channel choosing, comparing the measurement result and assigned the threshold value, determining the measurement result qualified or not and saving with the database and the notepad and so on . Field control unit provides the friendly man-machine interface through LCD monitor and the press key. There are more than 20 pages interface and sub- interface .It can flexibly realize the function of option, revising data, transforming operate interface and more than ten data setting and inquiring ,simultaneously it also can realize the function of measuring, monitoring and communicating. The intelligent pressure monitoring instrument is like a micro computer. The intelligent pressure monitoring is not the hardware entity, but is the hardware and software unifies. Combining the instrument and the microprocessor substituted for many unwieldy hardware. The microprocessor controls the instrument running, carries out the routine measurement, intelligently analyses and processes the data, digital demonstration and transmission through the pressing the key or the signal. But the traditional simulation method is very difficult to achieve.The intelligent pressure monitoring instrument developed in this dissertation has already experimentally ran. The running result indicated of stable performance ,high reliability and simple operation, It not only can satisfy the TOX punch press monitoring, the management and the communication request, but also may take applies by the general pressure detector using in the machine-finishing manufacturing industry and the automatic production line. As a set of intelligent instrument, in the field of precision, function and practicability .etc now are the front runner, and it has reached the international advanced level.
