With improving of automatization of industrial control, the requirement to intelligent detection becomes urgent. At the same time, with the expanding of manufacturing scale, the requirement to the supervisory control of working process becomes urgent. To conform these requirements, we design a type of intelligent instrument with network communication. It not only has the advantages of traditional intelligent instrument, but also has the function of network communication. Many instruments can compose a detecting-net, each instrument can upload the monitoring data to host computer. The host computer also can send control instruction to each instrument. So we can realize the integral supervisory control to multi-position. Adapting to villainous situation of industry, this instrument equips with infrared remote controller. The instrument can receive all of the operating instruction by infrared remote controller. So it insures the safety of the operator.This paper disserts the whole scheme and device selection of the instrument in detail. At the same time, it introduces the constitution, principle of transmission of infrared remote control signal. It also explains how to decode the remote control signal by software, and discuss the anti-jamming problem of receiving. It illustrates the principle and method of multithread serial communication and exemplifies how to realize them by Delphi. This paper explains the reason of code-error in network communication, and defines the method of baud rate setting.
