With the continuous development of automatic industry technology,Numerical control system is wildly used in manufacturing production lines. Research of Intelligentized and network-based instrumentation for numerical control system increasingly become important.In this thesis, based on the analysis of working principle of traditional monitoring instrumentation and development of Intelligentized and network-based technology, the embedded technology,digital communication technology and intelligent control technology are integrated and applied to traditional monitoring instrumentation which is used in TOX punching.The intelligent pressure monitoring apparatus in this dissertation uses the PIC18f4620 micro processor as the core, which has the pressure detecting circuit, PLC interface circuit, Ethernet communication interface circuit, interface circuit, display and operate pressing key etc.Compared with traditional instrumentation, the intelligent pressure monitoring instrument not only has the function of the data acquisition,pressure detecting,but also has PLC inputting/outputting control,netwprk communication with remote computer and so on. Network communication adopts the embedded gateway and TCP/IP protocol to implement Ethernet communication and the converter of standard 485 protocol and PROFIBUS protocol are used to realize PROFIBUS control.The computer-monitoring software realizes its function with Delphi and database of Access, which make data acquisition, parameters setting,scan monitoring,saving,printing and other function come true.In order to solve the problem about impossibility of the valid application to the normal Instrumentation with intelligent control, the PLC interface module and the embedded Ethernet module are adopted. Besides, other problem can be effectively solved, such as, the lower efficiency and off-line monitor for remote monitoring and real-time control can be effectively solved. Furthermore, to improve the resisting interference of the monitoring system, some practicable resisting interference measures about software and hardware have been presented. Finally, each useful capacity of pressure monitoring system, such as intelligence, network, digital, openness and incompatibility can be realized. It not only can meet the needs of the TOX punch (press monitoring, the management and the communication requesting), but also could be applied to the machine-finishing manufacturing industry and the automatic production line as the general pressure detector.
