As technology advances, the audio industry and the IT industry is more closely together. Technological achievements in the field of IT technology more widely applied in the field of audio and video, and have promoted the audio and video progress. Now the analog audio product has gradually faded out, the Digital is a trend. Traditional digital filter which adopts multiplication and summation (MAC) structure, needs multiplication and addition arithmetic carrying out many times's.It needs to be done a large number of numerical operations in the process of transform and deal with, so we can choose the microprocessor whose operation is much faster to complete real-time digital signal processing. So it has very outstanding advantage making use of DSP (Digital Signal Processor) in the field of audio.DSP chip is especially designed for fast realizing various digital signals processing arithmetic. It has a microprocessor with the especial configuration. With the embedment of information technology revolution and the flying development of computer technology, Digital signal processing has gradually been a key technical subject. In various kinds of DSP, the typical one is the TMS320 family produced by the Texas (TI) in U.S.A. On the grouds of the perfect capability and availability of DSP in the digital signal processing, the choice of DSP as the core component in the audio system is wise and advisable. And the TMS320VC5402 serials of TI Company comprise of the most important parts in the fixed-point DSP products.Paper introduces the designations of system circuitry, functional design, Audio Codec circuit in detail based on the audio systemic need. Consideration of such factors as cost and performance in the design, the main hardware of the audio processor consists of the following parts: 1) TI's TMS320VC5402 digital signal processor to processor; 2) The use of the TI stereo audio codec chip TLV320AIC23B completed the audio signal codec; 3) the use of Altera's rogrammable logic device (CPLD) EMP7128STC100 related to the realization of system control logic; 4) use AM29LV400B AMD's flash memory to store program code.This paper is going on research to an instrument used to measure comfort and Sperling of train from hardware and software separately. The paper introduces the design idea, the buildup of hardware and the software programme. Our project is to design a DSP-based fingerprint acquisition module which works offline and could be an OEM product. This module features with the performance of small, low cost, easy to develop and flexible to apply ,etc.
