Along with the fast development of computer multimedia technology recently, Digital Audio Technology (DAT) is applied widely in the broadcasting and TV industry. In the digital audio workstation, it抯 necessary to transform some signals to be in accordance with some requirements for the practical reasons. Today, hardware is often used to implement the transformations with high price. To save the money, it is necessary to introduce software. Under such condition, we will introduce a versatile real time delay processor for digital audio signal (RTDP) and its application which has been made by myself in this paper.Actually, the RTDP is a signal processor with many utilities which can be choose by different parameters. The utilities which can be used independently or dependently include real time delaying process, resampling, encode and decode.In this paper, the real time delay software is developed completely by myself. While, the MPEG encode and decode software are developed to be flexible controler on the basis of download source code. Moreover, the application of MPEG encode and decode is made on my own.The software made in this paper are mainly applied to program management and broadcasting system of broadcasting domain both in local area and on internet. The most important thing is that the software has been used in practice.
