With the rapid development of construction of Chinese long freeway tunnel, supervisory control and maintenance of electromechanical devices in tunnel is becoming more and more important. On the one hand, electromechanical devices in tunnel are widely distributed, numerous , complex in composition and high in broken-down rate. And besides, the management of electromechanical devices are disordered and inefficient at present. On the other hand, It has little contact between the existing supervisory control system and maintenance system of electromechanical devices in freeway tunnel. Therefore the two systems can not interact and provide valuable data for each other. In view of the former problem, COM GIS is applied to the development of maintenance system of electromechanical devices in freeway tunnel in this thesis. And spatial and attribute data of electromechanical devices is stored and managed by using Oracle Spatial database technology. It is significant to improve the efficiency and standardize of the maintenance System. Consider of the latter problem, the contact of the two systems based on three-tier structure provided by DCOM is implemented in this thesis. In this way, maintenance operator can make maintenance plan in time according to the electromechanical devices' condition from the supervisory control system. The supervisory control system can achieve excellent control by receiving control advice from maintenance system . The implement has practical significance in increasing devices' life and reducing tunnel's operating costs.In this thesis, object-relational spatial data storage model provided by Oracle Spatial and basic theory of MapX is discussed. COM/DCOM principles are explained from the perspective of norms and achievement. And then, based on specific projects, the constitute and requirement of supervisory control and maintenance system of electromechanical devices in freeway tunnel is analysed. On this basis, the network topology, architecture, function modules and database of the system is designed. Implemention of the part of maintenance subsystem based on GIS and the interconnected subsystem is introduced and analysed in detail.In this thesis, based on DSS theory, decision-making models of selection for mechanical equipment and equipment renewing are established. The design and application of the two models in this system is also introduced.
