Research And Application Of Automatically Switched Optical Network Technologies

With the development of telecom service and further appearance of network integration trends,the existing static bandwidth distribution technology which is adopted by transmission network and the relative building pattern are increasingly unable to meet the demand of users and the needs of network operation.Automatically Switch Optical Network (ASON) is a technical innovation of optical transmission network,which has some characteristics of intelligence.It properly meets the need of network development,and represents the evolutionary orientation from the existing optical network to the next generation network.This dissertation gives a deep research on ASON technologies and the key issues in its application.And the results of the study have been applied to Jiangsu Mobile trunk transmission network.The main research is as follows:1) It does a close tracing research on ASON key technologies and its application at home and abroad.And it also expounds the evolutionary orientation of optical transmission network.2) It does research on key issues appeared in ASON technology application: introduction occasion,network evolution,service load, equipment selection,network maintenance and other issues.It expounds ASON network planning and design methods from its transport plane,control plane and management plane.3) Through a thorough analysis and discussion on the need of Jiangsu Mobile telecom business and the existing problems in its truck transmission network,the dissertation gives a transmission network-building solution which is based on ASON technologies.And it gives some suggestions relate to engineering.The solution has a great value as a reference to similar network in other provinces.At present,Jiangsu Mobile has started to carry out the first phase of the construction.In the near future,the network will greatly enhance the service loading ability and operating capacity of Jiangsu Mobile transmission network.
