Resources and courseware for distance education are gradually being intensified along with the fast development of modern distance education in China, with the endless emergence of network teaching systems. Personalized learning is a hot focus being studied in modern distance education, and this Paper attempts to propose its assumptions pointed to the shortness in various systems or network courses designed for personalized learning through analysis.This Paper intends to introduce a digital model for Web-based personalized learning system, and then present the design method for its modules on the basis of CELTS (Chinese e-Learning Technology Standardization).Overview of personalized learning: First, two groups of concepts are analyzed, followed by an introduction to the status of researches home and abroad over the development and application of personalized services in distance education. The theoretical principle of personalized learning will then be explained, and finally the comparative analysis of extraction methods for personalized characteristics will be undertaken.Proposal of system model for personalized learning: A system component model will first be proposed according to the functional requirements of personalized learning system in distance education, and then a four-layer system structure of personalized learning system will be setup.Proposal of a learner model: This Paper also tries to setup a leaner model for learners, a significant object in teaching system. Besides the eight types of information required by the learner information in the CELTS, the learner model also contains individual information added according to requirements of personalized learning system, making it possible for cross-campus schooling.Design of a resource organization model centered on learners: Organization of network resources functions as the basis for realization of personalized learning in distance education. With consideration of the features of network education and the standards for construction of network resources stipulated in CELTS, this Paper will propose a resource organization model centered on learners, and will proceed to lay emphasis on description of contained knowledge points of network courses. The concept and properties of knowledge points, as well as the connection among knowledge points will also be introduced; besides, the expression of knowledge combination structure will also be presented to lay foundation for subsequent learning assessment and the personalized combination of knowledge points.Presentation of the assessment process model for learning assessment services: One of the key factors for promoting the learning quality of learner-dominated distance education is the implementation of just and objective learning assessment. In this module, this Paper will: Present assessment process model and based on the model, perform assessment of learning activities of learners; Select fuzzy dynamic overall assessment method, and then introduce the theoretical analysis and assessment execution process of this method; Decide a layer assessment index system for assessing these index of learners; Perform assessment of learner's index using fuzzy dynamic overall assessment method, and present specific assessment processes of some index.
