Application Research Of Information Architecture On Personalized Information Organization

With the development and wide spread of Internet, large amounts of information make it more and more difficult for people to obtain the message they need. Meanwhile, personalized information service is challenged at this new age. Therefore, someone put forward the issue of personalized information organization. IA (information Architecture), which is mainly applied to net design, has become a hot issue of information technology after 1990's. This essay intends to introduce IA to personalized information organization, to which IA is expected to bring about more inspiration and to be increasingly used in the personalized information resource organization.This essay consists of six parts:First, the preface mainly illustrates why IA and personalized information organization are linked and IA's application in personalized information organization.Part One introduces the presentation, definition and present research of personalized information organization.Part Two presents an outline of IA's research background, definition, focus, features and research condition at home and abroad. Part Two and Part Three theoretically pave the way for the last part.Part Three is engaged in the connection between IA and personalized information organization and IA's inspiration for personalized information system, which introduces the theme of this essay.Part Four is the focus of the studies. IA's application in personalized information organization is explained from the aspects of customer analysis, organizing method, interface design, navigation system, search system, user experience and usability testing.Part Five draws a conclusion. Applying IA to personalized information resource system not only is available but also holds huge capacity. However, it is not illustrated in great detail due to the author's limitation.
