A Study On Standardiztion Problems Of Network Information Resource Organization

The construction of standards is the base of network information organization, and network information organization should conform to the standards such as information processing, resource describing, resource organizing, resource interoperating and resource serving. To assure the usability, interoperability and durative of network information resource, it also should abide by standards of content encoding, data collecting, format marking. This paper discusses standard problems related to information organization, based on the problems of standards in question.This article consists of four parts. At first, it analyses the development of network information organization. In succession, discussing the system construction of network information organization, this paper puts forwards the construction of related standard in network information organization and analyses standardization advancement of network information organization. At last, it elaborates the tendency and relationship between standardization in network information organization and personalized information services.In the first part, based on core problems of standardization in information organization under network environment, the paper delves into the development of standard problems of network information organization and the overall requirements for the construction of standardization in network information organization.In the second part, the article analyses the goals, tasks and principles of standardization construction, construction of standard system of network information organization, and manners and approaches of construction of standardization in network information organization.In the third part, the thesis discusses impetus of network information organization and analyses the process of constructing standard system based on life circle of information. The life circle involves the establishment, description, organization, retrieval, service and preservation of information resources. In this part, the follow standards are listed such as content establishment on network information organization, metadata of networkinformation organization, the display and change of network information resource, metadata description and exchange, and network information resource description organization and user's interface.In the last part, the paper probes into the development of standardization of network information organization and personalized information service and analyses the relationship of standardization of network information organization and personalized information service. Furthermore, it discusses the realization of personalized information service based standardization. Finally, the article makes researches on the construction of subject gateway based on standardization and the user-oriented service organization.
