The study of relationship between media and government is not only a traditionaltopic of western political communication, but also the study focus of other majors in ourcountry. From a macroscopical point of view, this matters the survival and development ofthe country, from a microcosmic point of view, this concerns the benefit of every citizenand individual development. During the transitional period, making the relationshipbetween media and government clear is better for the construction of socialism and betterfor development of democratic politics in our country. Base on other's research, the authoris trying to identify the relationship between media and our country by approach ofcontent analysis of the commentary part of Southern Metropolitan Daily in 2004-2005.This article proves that media and the government are two critical vehicles to thedestination of democratic politics. Only the two vehicles cooperate with each other canour democratic politics be realized successfully.
