As information technology developing rapidly, industrial autocontrol field is undergoing profound changes. Field bus Technology is an important one of such profound change.According to an actual problem of monitoring water tank level of some pumping stations at a coal mine, a system of real-time data collection, transmission, storage and control from industrial process parameters is designed using CAN-BUS as transmission means in the thesis. An Ethernet data transmission interface and associated software of protocol stack is added to the system for expanding scope of the application on this basis.The relevant background and the main work of the thesis about the project are introduced in part one. In part two and part three, knowledge of CAN-BUS protocol, TCP/IP protocol and the Ethernet are described respectively. In part four the hardware structure of system is introduced in detail and then the software structure is also introduced in part five.On the premise of ensuring the reliability and stability, hardware and software design in the system adopted the thought of modular design for minimizing costs. Besides monitoring program on center PC, all software is programbled by Keil C language, which can improve the expansibility and portability of the program.Through testing on the spot, the design can satisfy the need of pumping station basically. And the realization of Ethernet interface and associated protocol stack on the central node extends the utilization of the remote net transmission of system in further.
