This design is a monitoring and management system which uses microprocessor technology, RS-485 communication technology and computer technology to realize the acquisition and transmission of the water level system.When it works, the upper monitor sends instruction of water level data collection to MSP430F169. Under the control of MSP430F169, the water level sensor sends the date to MSP430F169 to save and do with.Then, MSP430F169 sends the handled data to the upper monitor. The operators can query, print, save the data by Management Platform of water-level data. The lower monitor use solar energy, it can control the water level sensor's power to reduce power dissipation by the turning on and off electric relay's.The paper firstly gives the overall structure and operational principle of the system and elaborates the principles it follows in the hardware design.After that, the paper describes the overall idea of the lower monitor hardware circuit and especially introduces the hardware design of every modules .Then, the paper describes the overall structure of the lower computer software's design and software design of every modules and introduces the upper monitor's interface simply.Finally,the paper summarized the design of the whole monitoring system.
