Study Of Requirement Management In Multimedia Courseware Development

Because the short period and small number of participants, Requirement management in project development is underestimated. But in the practice of multimedia Courseware development there are many cases failed because of that underestimation. Most of the failure is because Requirement ambiguity, Requirement incompletion, or Requirement change. These factors have a large influence to project development. They may cause that the completion of the project exceed time or budget, or that the product can not meet the client's requirement.How to solve the problem caused by bad Requirement management is an important task in the study of multimedia Courseware project development. Based on the theories and methods of Requirement engineering and combined with the characteristic of multimedia Courseware development projects, this paper describes a set of Requirement management flow which is suitable to multimedia Courseware development; the paper also improves the methods and tools of Requirement engineering and selectively applies them to the Requirement management of this kind of projects, e.g. DEMO display etc. And the project Requirement archives files and modification files in this paper are designed to fit the Courseware development projects based on the theories and methods of Requirement engineering and combined with the characteristic of multimedia Courseware development projects.
