The domestic 3G prologue already pulled open in China. China Mobile Corperation has completed the tender work of the TD-SCDMA main equipment in several cities which will hold 2008 year Olympic Games. As one of the three great international standards of 3G , TD-SCDMA which is proposed by China will be applyed officially. The 3G mobile communication system vs the former second-generation mobile communication system, the 3G has a higher speed, a greater band width and so on many superiority.Therefore the 3G mobile communication system uses more complex new technology, and the affected area which it involves is broader. Because the essential technology which each kind of the three service pattern of 3G uses has the detailed introduction in other some specialized books(expecially in wireless communication technology area), the paper no longer gives unnecessary details.My papers mainly origined to the TD-SCDMA network planning work which I did for the Guangxi Mobile Corperation . According to the existing network conditions of the branch corperation, I did as much as possible to make use of the network conditions and to protect the interests of operators when I was doing the network planning work to meet the scale of the coverage of the TD-SCDMA system.Then I analyzed of TD-SCDMA system in the practical application which may lead to influence and mutual interference between different mobile systems, eg.with PHS wireless network, or with WCDMA wireless network, or with CDMA2000 wireless network, thus arrived at the corresponding engineering project solutions. My papers also discussed integration of the 3G core networks and the existing networks, the 3G core networks of their own characteristics and the future evolution of comparison.
