IMS-based Fixed-mobile Core Network Integration And Evolution

In order to meet the needs of full-service market competition, promoting the integration of core network to provide converged multimedia services and applications, to achieve the purpose of the network cost-efficient operations. Through the IMS provides multimedia and fixed-mobile convergence services, the introduction of IMS solution and trigger the nested multi-service problems, the network flat, IP transformation experiments in order to meet the future network convergence. The full-service operations to further increase the viscosity of the individual and home users to consolidate the high-value enterprise market.The IMS pilot project was launched in this context, the core network through the analysis of the current status of planning and construction of IMS system, thus enabling IMS network and current network equipment and operational support system docking. Combination of light into the copper back, pilot IMS + EPON manner that a fixed user access to meet the needs of network convergence and evolution; via mobile video telephony, multimedia ring tones and other fixed / mobile converged multimedia services, to build for the future development of broadband IP service-wide platform, to achieve business-driven IMS network development purposes. I carried this project forward the following main aspects of the work and research:1. A detailed analysis of core network status, existing problems and put forward the network development strategy.2. Planning and participating in IMS network construction, the realization of the principles of the various network elements, and the current network equipment interoperability and systems numbering scheme will conduct a study to explore and implement.3. For network operations are analyzed, and fixed-mobile convergence and evolution of the solution.4. Fujian IMS test network based on realization of multimedia systems, multimedia ring tones, color, as well as multimedia conferencing features of these three IMS multimedia services with the realization of the principle of networking programs, such as call flow study and try.5. Analyze and propose IMS network management and integrated system solutions for tents.6. Full participation in equipment design, installation, adjustment measurement, inspection, cutover, opening and so on.7. Finally, to sum up the results of the research and to make the next topic research projects.
