As the third generation mobile communication technology is gradually rising, the 3G network operators are actively preparing for new work construction. In 2009 China Mobile launched a comprehensive TD-SCDMA network construction work in cities across the country. How to meet the TD-SCDMA wireless network planning requirements under the premise of capacity, coverage, cost balance and achieve the most optimized existing network resources, and at the same time provide customers with more reliable, stable, high quality of services are important issues for China Mobile.This thesis focuses on the research of design and implementation of TD-SCDMA network planning and optimization. Firstly, it introduces the key technology and overall planning principles of TD-SCDMA network. Secondly, combined with Phaseâ…¢TD-SCDMA development, network engineering design and optimization are introduced, including site survey, sweep test, neighborhood planning, frequency planning, scrambling code planning, optimization process optimization solutions, and also some typical problems and case studies.After the TD-SCDMA network construction and network optimization, the KPI performances of the network are greatly enhanced, this proves that the design and implementation of Puyang Mobile TD-SCDMA network to be an effective solution to the TD-SCDMA network planning and optimization.
