Traditional mobile network is divided into three parts, base station subsystems, networking subsystems, and supporting subsystems for example security management, etc. The core network part is located on the network subsystem, the core network onto a major role in the A port call request or data request, the successor to a different network. Mainly is related to continuation calls, billing, mobility management, supplementary services implementation, intelligent trigger and so on, the main support by the switch. The traditional core network elements with MSC/VLR, HLR, GMSC and other network elements, traffic carrying traditional TDM mode, control and bearer are non-separating, control channel and data channel are non-separating.Softswitch networks can provide voice, data and multimedia services in a comprehensive, full-open network. As technology advances and demand on the rise, and its development is the inevitable trend, how planning and constructing commercial softswitch network, have become the focus of telecom operators'common concern. This dissertation is through the introduction of the relevant networks, and through a specific implementation of the project, through the lessons of experience in building projects, better planning for the future core network development and construction experience to provide more useful reference. The main results are as follows::1.Description of the status and development evolution of the network;2. Description of how the network planning;3.An overview of the project and description of the overall design of the project approach, relevant content, put forward the construction of the relevant requirements;4.Summarizes the engineering construction achievements and the future development presented my own views.
