Embedded System is a new and potential technique. Linux is a clone of the operating system Unix, written from scratch by Linus Torvalds with assistance from a loosely-knit team of hackers across the Net. It aims towards POSIX and Single UNIX Specification compliance. It has all the features you would expect in a modern fully-fledged Unix, including true multitasking, virtual memory, shared libraries, demand loading, shared copy-on-write executables, proper memory management, and multistack networking including IPv4 and IPv6. Embedded System with Linux make up Embedded Linux System.Present situation of data acquisition system is based on industry computer with data acquisition card. This is age-old data acquisition system, hard to maintain, low stability, low security, and with high consumption. Embedded Linux System is improvement of this age-old system. Develop a data acquisition system based on embedded Linux, we chose 2 architecture of CPU, ARM and MIPS. Build the cross compile environment for those architecture, transplant Linux system and data acquisition software for that architecture. And we test whether our data acquisition system can be transplanted to other architecture. Finally, we do some hardware extends and solve data conflicts.Embedded System is a potential technique; there are lots of researches to improve our data acquisition system.
