Research On Service-Oriented Graduate Information Management System

Along with the expansion of enrollment scale in institution of higher learning, the quantity of graduates from institutions of higher learning also increases in large amount, the corresponding graduate information management system is needed in order to integrate and manage the graduate information of each branch of school, and make it convenient for teachers and students to inquiry relevant information. This paper applies a new architecture----service-oriented architecture to design and develop graduate information management system, realizes the sharing of data resources and the reuse of software business from the angle of system frame.Nowadays available systems often develop functions and import data themselves, which results in resources waste and inefficiency. Because of the short of a master plan of relevant systems, the sharing and integration of business data and functions is difficult. All these problems require graduate information management system to use new architecture to share data and reuse available functions. This paper includes:(1)Service model design. This paper takes SOA as system frame guiding ideology, first analyses systems that are relevant to graduate information management system, finds services that can be provided by these systems; then analyses graduate information management system, finds services that are needed; then designs all services, focus on the study of service discover process and service contracts, establishes a basis for the design and develop of system.(2)System design. Applying SOA to design graduate information management system, according to the analysis of system functions, this paper advances the business frame model and the logic frame model of the system, designs the specific business process of system, describes the applying steps of SOA in the designing process, analyses the basic logic frame while applying SOA.(3)System realization. Based on design, taking .NET as developing platform, using ASP.NET technology and taking c# as programming language, develops graduate information management system, discusses the realization and transfer of web services and services arrangement based on .NET, finally accomplishes system by way of services integration. The business logic of this system realizes by services or services integration provided by other systems, which improves the system's exploitation efficiency, so the system is easy to be expanded and maintained.Taking service-oriented architecture as system frame guiding ideology, taking .NET web services as developing technology, graduate information management system is developed quickly and is easy to be expanded and maintained, it reuses data and business of available systems efficiently. All these make a good guidance for information systems that want to use service-oriented architecture.
