The Design And Accomplish Of An OLAP Analysis System Of PAS's Contract Service Tariff Package

With the promotion of information technology in every aspect of society, enterprises not only need build information system to process production, management and other transactions, even need to obtain useful knowledge for decision-making from the historical data of transaction processing, and to provide effective support to enhance the competitiveness of enterprises. Present OLTP information system can't satisfy more demand of enterprises.As a part of BI solution, Data Warehouse and OLAP better meet the new needs of enterprise. Data Warehouse integrates the isolate information from different information system and builds multi-dimensional data sets include related information. OLAP analysis these data sets from different levels or angles, and mine some useful knowledge to provide reference for decision-making enterprises.This paper's work base on actual needs of visualization analyze of XX Telecom's Contract Service Tariff Package Scheme of PAS. First, we extract, transform and load the data scattered in various system to the Data Warehouse. Then, building multi-dimensional data cube according tothe analytic theme of PAS. At last, We provide two OLAP methods---fixedreport and impromptu query base on Reporting Services and OWC.The main tasks are : to study the basic theory of Data Warehouse and OLAP, design the multidimensional data model of Data Warehouse and multidimensional cube, design and implement the ETL of data, design the MDX query, design and implement the interface of ADO MD and OLAP analyze.
