The Design And Research On Experiment System Of Computer Interface

The application of computer has entered into almost every field with the development of modern technology, so it is very important to grasp computer system and the interface technology. There is great change in the MPU, computer interface and operation system with the development of the computer. It is in the desire of meeting this change, new experiment kit is designed for computer interface experiment.At first, the current situation of computer interface teaching and the importance of developing advanced experiment system are analyzed. Secondly, the experiment kits are expatiated in the following aspects: system structure, every function modules, its related theory and design method. Specially, the introduction and application of EDA and PCI technology was emphasized. Then, It introduces the extended function──data collection and self-diagnosis. Fourthly, a synthetic example is created to explain the specialty and advantage of the experiment kit in the standpoint of real application of it. At last, the summary is made and shortages are pointed out.In the discussing of EDA, the difference and choosing method between FPGA and CPLD on logic unit, programmable line and program techniques are clarified. Meanwhile, the application of EDA design method, VHDL program technology and the definition of CPLD's subprogram are discussed in the chapter of EDA technology. In the section of PCI technology, there are many explanations such as characteristic, definition, command, basic transfer control, read and write operation, configuration space of PCI bus. Meanwhile, the function of PCI9052, the design of PCI interface and the configuration of the registers are also described.In this paper, the theory is combined with the actual application. The related theory is introduced at first, and the application is demonstrated later, which makes the paper more readable.
