Realization Of Data Collection Equipment Basing On Network Technology

Data collection layer can aquire important data for power system. Tradtionally, the Master-slave communication structure is based on RS-232/RS-422 bus. It has low data rate and low reliability which is not a robust system. In this paper, we proposed a new data acquisition equipment with multiple communication method for collecting the temperature and humidity parameters. Besides RS-232/RS-422 serial interface, the equipment can transmit data through Ethernet. The corresponding design of serial interface module, Ethernet module and other peripheral circuits are given in this paper. The communication protocols with serial interfaces and Ethernet are also introduced. Finally, we gave the scheme of how to imbed the simple TCP/IP protocol stack to the microcontroller of C8051F020.
