Study And Realization Of Video Monitoring System Base On Local Network

This paper introduces the development of the Video Monitoring System briefly, analyzes its current situation and the prospect. In order to monitor computer and schoolroom, realize technological management, this paper designs the system plan of implementation for Remote Video Monitoring System based on TCP/IP networks. The paper firstly introduces the primary technology of Video Monitoring System, including the method of gathering and machining video signal and playing, relating to the method of program about DirectShow and the trait of working about Filter. And introduce the transport project of video signal on network base IP. Finally according as the characteristic of video digital gathered, machined, transported, played and requirement of Video Monitoring System. The paper adopts that video collecting card gather video digital. IP multicast is chosen as the network transporting method for video signals in this system. During the process of designing, the methods of Software Engineering are followed strictly. After the phases of requirement-analyzing, general designing and detailed designing, the function models, general structures and implementations of each system models about the Remote Video Monitoring System based on TCP/IP networks are determined. Finally, the detailed implementation of this system is actualized, including the setting up of the hardware and software platforms and the programming of the key models.
