The network video monitoring system is the new system with many new technique such as the multi-media technique,digital picture processing and saving, correspondence etc,which is been apply extensively in various situations,and which people have pay much attention to.Because of the environment request from the Brake Pump Station at present,the native monitoring system can not manage and handle urgent circumstances,so we need to design a long distance video monitoring system,which is also the request of the current nobody on duty and the monitoring system development.In order to realize the system to monitor the dangerous and control district on the Brake Pump Station,report the unnormal situation automatically from the spot,and solve the trouble,this paper puts forward the system model and design project.It uses the C/S mode,and mainly constitutes by the brake bump station controller(the Server),the computer correspondence network and the system supervisor(the Client) three parts.In the Server,it mainly includes the collecting,converting and compression code of the video data;In network,it is mainly the network server;In the client,it includes receiving data from network,decoding the data and broadcast the video.Taking up comprehensive considerations,such as the video picture clear degree,network bandwidth rate,network management etc,chooses the suitable hardware equipment and software develop environment,in which the LM4008 video collect card is the core hardware equipment.And then,on the foundation of researching current various coding standard,we further research the H.264's basic principle, characteristics and video frequency code method.Except that,we pay more attention to the core technologies such as the forecast in frame,the forecast during frame,Transformation and quantification,codling,and so on.Using the network video deliver method base on the TCP/IP agreement,apply the WinSock network programming knowledge,use the member's function in the MFC,complete the port network programming,and then realize the network deliver in this system.About the decoding of real-time data flow,we adopt DirectShow media SDK from Microsoft.Through handling the network data flow,we code and decode the flow media and show the video.The video monitoring system of Brake Pump Station developed in this paper, can run together with the pump equipments,monitor on-line,and communicate for a long range.What's more,it can cut over and withdraw,keep the Brake Pump Station running under the electricity control mode,with out monitoring.If we change the system a litter,we can use it in other long range monitoring spot.It has good applied foreground,and is the base of the further research and development of the system.
