The continuous development of science and technology, led the upgrade ofbroadband technology makes images based on its growing network of technologygradually extended to the use of video surveillance systems. Video surveillance systemapplication has exceeded the simple security features, but has become a new field for allwhom effective monitoring and management tool. Using video surveillance areas andapplication flexibility beyond the original scope covered by security monitoring.Internet showing a rapid and sustained development trend, which makes imagecompression coding technology and network technology in the stage of rapiddevelopment has been considerable development. Systems and ability to handle severaltimes to get a qualitative leap, these capabilities are making digital informationtechnology as an advanced technical means. Digital information technology for themany aspects of technology-driven: for example imaging applications in the network,improve flexibility, reduce production costs and increase scalability and so on.Since1990, the development of video surveillance into a good time. Upgrading ofcomputer technology, network technology, speed, miniaturization of integrated systemstechnology for video surveillance technology provides a good platform. During thisperiod, driven into over ten years of efforts, many scientific and technological contentof the technology to the fore, such as network transmission, embedded multimediaapplications. Their development greatly improve the network transmission rate andtransmission distance, so that the image pixels clearer, more applications can beachieved online. Traditional analog CCTV video surveillance system through theformula technological progress, gradually began to transform mode. The emergence ofdigital video surveillance systems, as well as further development to the present popularIP network video surveillance system. Nowadays video surveillance system consists ofonly three parts, cameras, servers and clients. Camera to capture the image data is sentto the server, the server will send the camera to decode encoded data over the work, andthen straighten the stack and then sends the data to the client. The main purpose of this paper is to build a client, you can use the companynetwork transmission in the office watching surveillance video solutions. In the article,the client works and related technologies elaborated: DirectShow using videoprocessing techniques to process the data, the use of some software FFDSHOWdecompress data; H.264using RTP protocol to transfer data, using the SIP protocolprocessing streaming media player and so on. Finally, the client system can be tested toverify the various functions.
